I just have a quick question for those of you that have been participants at EFY. What things as a counslor can I do to be cool? What kinds of things did your counselors do for you?

I had a counselor that she had a ball of yarn, she passed it around and told us girls to cut off as much as we wanted to. After we had cut off as much as we wanted, we would go around the circle and you had to tell about yourself as you wrapped the yarn around your finger. When the piece yarn was gone you where done telling about yourself and it went to the next person. If I think of any more I'll let you know!

I've done something like that before. Only it was with m&ms. We could take as many as we wanted but then we had to count them and however many we had say that many things about ourselves.

I loved my counselor just being fun and honest and open. having a pizza night with face masks is way fun... truth or truth is a fun game and the yarn game? we did the same thing with toilet paper. it was passed around and we were told to take as much as we'd need. thats all you say. so then some girls figure its for a while.. so then they have to say somthing about themselves for every square and they go on for a while. its way fun
