Did you guys hear about Destiny? It's so sad. I guess her dad had just joined the church the day before she went missing. I feel so bad for the family. With the mom going to have a baby in about a month and there other little girls birthday. Oh it is so sad!

It makes me sick...especially after hearing what the guy did to her...I was crying for quite awhile today after reading the charges...

Yeah, it makes me so so sick too!! When I heard the news, I felt so sick like someone punched me the stomache. Then I went downstairs to tell my husband after Court text me and I was crying. IT is so sad. What kind of a sick person do you have to be to do that to some innocent little child! I can't imagine what she probably went thru, the last days! I feel for her family.
And when I heard the news again of what he did to her, I was doubled over sick!
It is so sad. But keep them in your prayers. She is in a better place and just knowing that in the next life, there will be justice brings a little comfort. I just can't, oh it just makes me so mad and disgusted!! :twisted:

I'm still so confused about this story. What happened?
Destiny (5 years old) went missing from her backyard a few weeks ago, they searched for her for 8 days. On Monday night they found her body in a plastic container in her neighbors basement, just 150 feet away from her house. He lured her into his house, and then smothered her, and did some horrible things to her. Sad thing is, it all happened so fast, and she had actually already died before her parents even called the police (they called after searching for about an hour) And what makes me so sick is that the guy who did this to her even went out with the search parties and pretended to search for her, and lit a candle for her at the candlelight vigil...he's scum.

new reports say he had planned this for some time to do what he did to her. He has a 1 year old to and he was 20. man I think who can do this to a child.

I'm glad that he confessed to writing those too, automatic death penalty because it was pre-meditated. Hopefully it will speed up the whole process and provide some closure for Destiny's family.
