I think he's going for Day 36 tonight, or 37! It's one of those! He is smart!! Jeopardy better be thankin' him because a lot of people have started watching just to see him!! Yeah, he is a mormon, in fact he is Courtenay's mom's neighbor and I thought Court said he was in the High Council in his ward. Court correct me if I am wrong. She said that he is really good at trivia stuff. She can probably tell you more. I have been wtching him every night. He is pretty good. Alex gives him a hard time when he knows stuff that Mormons are against. It's funny. Like one time he knew almost the whole category in the alcoholic drinks category and Alex was like, "You know you're a Mormon, yet you knew all the answers to this cateogry, we need to talk about this...." And it makes me laugh when he writes his name. It's different everyday. Pretty cool though. I am not sure when it is on in WA, but here in Utah it is on at 7:30 p.m. every week night on KJZZ channel 14. It's on after Wheel of Fortune.

Yeah, Ken is my mom's next door neighbor. I think my step dad said he's in the high council, but I'll have to find out. Ken's a great guy. I swear, his brain's like a computer. But when you talk to him he's just a down to earth, normal guy, and very funny! And his son is the cutest thing I've ever seen. His wife's a sweetheart too, she would come over to dinner at my mom's when Ken was filming Jeopardy. She was there for some of the shows, but she couldn't be away from home for that long. Mindy did make him flash cards about the alcoholic drinks and other categories that he didn't know much about so that he could be ready for the show. He now knows how to mix up all kinds of drinks! LOL!
Tonight Ken won his 36th show and I think he's up to $1,400,000 something. The all-time record for most wins on any game show is 45 or 46, so he's getting close to beating that record also...
It's funny cause the day before his first Jeopardy show aired I emailed some of my friends to tell them to tune in. I said something about watching it the first day because I wasn't sure how many shows he would be on...now look at him!

Yeah, Ken was on Leno on Thursday night. I didn't watch it, but my mom told me about it. They were watching Ken's dog Banjo while they went to film Leno. That dog is huge! I went outside to pet him, and he put his front paws on the fence, and he was as tall as me! No joke!
Anyway, like Vee said, Ken is the Elder's Quorum president, and my stepdad is one of his counselors.
I told my mom that there was a topic on here about Ken, and to tell him about it. She said that he probably has already read it because he searches for his name on google and reads what people are saying!

I read somewhere (I think it was the Trib) that contestants can say anything about the show until it airs or else they forfeit their winnings. Now he gets the summer off to cram more knowledge in his head!!!

Sometimes on Jeopardy they have the same categories but with different questions. So, Ken knew that there would be questions about alcohol, so Mindy made the flashcards for him.
Ken and Mindy came over for dinner last night, it was really fun! Their son is so cute! He starts filming the new season of Jeopardy in two weeks...let's wish him luck!

The season of Jeopardy just ended so he's been on a "break" since they finished filming! He's still on and will start the new season apparently in two weeks. It won't air until Sept. 6 though.
Court while filming is he able to come home on weekends or does he just stay in Cali?? I've wondered and I guess you're the best one to ask! LoL!

They actually film about 5 episodes a day, so he's not there as long as you'd think he'd be. When he filmed the first time he took his wife and son with him. I think they're planning on going with him again this time.
