New JR fan newsletter!
Hey guys!
We have an exciting new project that we'd like you all to be a part of. A few of us have started a monthly fan newsletter for Jericho Road. It is called All Dat Brings Joy (Abe, Dave, Bret, Justin) and some of the features are:
~ Fan Bios
~ Trivia Questions
~ Quotes, Thoughts, or Scriptures
~ Recipes or other fun things that we come across
~ Monthly Calendar (with events that JR will be doing each month)
~ A JR Fact (for example: Did you know that this JR guy has never gotten pulled over.)
~ Fan's Experiences and Stories
~ Interviews (With the guys and people who work with them. Also their wives and family members)
There will also be a monthly question for JR. And each of you can write in with ideas of what that question can be each month.
We are hoping to get the first issue out in late November, early December.

The newsletter will come through your email each month. Also, this is all about the fans, so please let us know if you have any ideas to make the newsletter better.
Just in case you're wondering, we've already talked to JR about this newsletter, and have their approval to do this.

Yeah, this is going to be great, so I hope you all will sign up. And like Court, said it is all about the fans and we would really appreciate feedback on ideas if you have any.
The address to sign up is in the first post, Court put up. So go there and sign up.

OKay, just click on the link in my first post and then click on "Join This Group". Then if you're already a yahoo member, type in your yahoo id and password. If you're not already a yahoo member, click on "Sign Up Now" to become ayahoo groups member. You don't need a yahoo email address to sign up for the group. Any email address will work. If you have problems email or pm me and give me your email address and I will sign you up myself.
Also, the 7 of us (Me, Amanda, Ash, Vee, Kati, Anne Marie and Kylee) are the writers, but if you guys want to write articles and send them in we can put them in upcoming issues. Or any stories or ideas of things that you come across can be sent to us and we'll include them also. We'd love to hear any fun ideas you have for the newsletter, so let us know.
We are putting the finishing touches on the first newsletter today. We are sending each newsletter to JR for their approval before we send it out, so as soon as we hear back from them, the first issue will be sent out to you.

I signed up last night! I can't wait till the first issue!
I wonder which member has never gotten pulled over because when I first met JR is SLC, Justin and Abe were late because Justin got pulled over or something! So I talked to Dave and Bret. Then I talked to Justin and Abe on Dave's phone while we waited and they finally showed up.

Elise, I don't think any of us have tried out the chat room yet, people just started signing up for the newsletter yesterday, so we'll have to try that out now that we have quite a few members. I'll let you know.

I signed up... but it was kinda giving me trouble and I didn't know what to do, so I just assumed it worked? :?
Hil, I check for you to see if it worked. The best way to tell if it worked or not is if you got an introductory email. If you did then it worked just fine. But, Anne Marie and Kylee have both been having problems with the website also. We may need to think of another way of doing this newsletter. Setting up a website or something. But I'll get back to you about that.

We just asked the guys and they said yes. And we did the same for the interviews, just asked the people we wanted to interview, and so far, everyone we've asked has agreed to do an interview for us!

I'm sure glad that you like it! I didn't work on it personally, but I know that the other girls did an awesome job putting it together. We put this together for you girls to enjoy, so please give us feedback on what we can do to improve it. Thanks again for the input jaebrown. :D

It didn't turn out exactly like we wanted it to, but I'm still happy with it. Originally we had all the pictures embedded in the newsletter, but it was too big to send in an email that way, so we had to take them out and send them separately, but hopefully you girls don't mind us doing that.
The next issue will be even better, our Christmas issue, I'm so excited!
Just a little teaser to get you excited: We are going to have the guys favorite Christmas memories, and an interview with Dave's wife Melissa!
If all goes as planned, we'll send that out the first week of December.
