The guy's performance at the 4th
Hey all-
Just thought you would like to hear a little inside info. I was lucky enough to be one of the dancers at the Red Hot 4th at Rice-Eccles. It was so much fun and the guys did an amazing job!! They came to do sound check Wed. night at about 6. I was just getting out of my car when I saw them walking across the parking lot. They rehearsed quickly and saved plenty of time to sign autographs. They stayed about an hour then left. I never got to talk to them because they kept us very busy. But later that night, we were rehearsing and I looked up and almost feel over because Bret was sitting right in front of my group looking through what looked like an address book and talking on his cell. I didn't see any of the other guys, but Bret sat there in front of us watching until it got dark. He is such a cutie!
Oh man I am going to have to agree that Bret is such a cutie. And that's so cool that he was in front of you. You were closer to him than I was. I was on the east side of the stadium. Which dance did you do? I thought they were all really good. Everyone did fantastic.

Thanks, it really was so much fun. It was great having him that close, but also really intimidating!!...plus I kept watching him instead of paying attention..hehe :lol: You know what was weird was during sound check, they rehearsed 3 songs...I'm not sure why they only did 2 during the real thing...hmmm...
I bet the reason why they only did two songs was because the show didn't start on time so they just probably thought oh well no one came to see JR anyway we'll just cut their time. How rude. There was a lot of us there that came to see JR. Then everyone else how had never heard of JR were probably thinking wow they are really good let's see some more of these guys and they were over. So I'm sure people were dissapointed. Which other song did they rehearse?

Actually, it was planned before hand that they were only going to sing "Inside of Me," "Time," and the National Anthem. (Check the article I posted.) That's three songs, unless they rehearsed "Conviction of the Heart" because I know they were dying to sing that with Kenny Loggins. :)
I thought they were supposed to sing conviction of the heart? Maybe I heard wrong..oh well, that would have been really cool to see them sing it with him :) they looked all cute out there dancin to it tho hehe.. why didnt they sing it with him do you know?

When I last talked with them I asked them if they were going to sing it with Kenny and they really wanted to. They were like, "Hopefully he'll ask us to sing it with him." I don't think they wanted to invade on his performance or anything, since he's a more famous performer.
i can understand that. It would be quite awkward asking to sing with him. It would have been cool if he asked them too.

hey! i saw the show on the 4th.it was great! i've never even heard of jericho road before seeing the show. they have good songs. i thought the one guy from TN was pretty hot. i cant remember his name or any of the other guys, i'm pretty bad at names.
alot of y'all are from t-ville...i live in tville too. just wondering about john snow...i live like 2 houses away from a john snow. hmmmm oh well. just wondering!
