Got any suggestions?
Hey y'all!
I LOVE J.R!!! But I was wondering, do any of you guys have other favorite LDS groups. See, I love in Nebraska and I usually don't ever hear about cool church stuff. So if you have any suggestions, I'll take them!
Thanks

Okay, here's my list of favorite LDS cd's other than Jericho Road:
-I love Donny Osmond...all his cd's are great!
-Afterglow "Another Witness"
-Alex Boye "The Love Goes On"
-Kenneth Cope "Greater Than Us All"
-Jeff Goodrich "I Heard Him Come"
-Anything by Michael McLean, but especially, "Forgotten Carols", "Collection volumes 1 and 2", "Celebrating The Light", and "Sound Tracks".
-James & Morgan Garrett "Songs of the Savior" (I went to high school with them...)
-Touched By An Angel soundtrack, not LDS artists, but a great "pick me up" cd
-Thurl Bailey, I don't have his new one, but I love his first one "Faith in Your Heart" and his Christmas cd is good too
-The soundtracks to "Singles Ward" and "The RM" are really great
-I also love Janice Kapp Perry, especially "The Light Within"
-Extempo
-Maren Ord "Waiting"
I know there are so many others, but these are the ones I thought of off the top of my head...
I hope you find something on here that you like!
-Courtenay

I don't really listen to anyother LDS music besides JR.
I listen to mainly punk, hard rock,'80's rock, rap, alternative, and other stuff like that. is there anybody else on here that likes any of these types of music?

Well, Jericho Road is of course #1 on my list of music, but I also like Cherie Call, Whatever it Takes (a cd for youth w/ a mix of artists, JR has a song on it!), and if you want some funny LDS music, try The Singles Ward Soundtrack, or The RM Soundtrack!
Hmm..Hilary Weeks is good...she has a great voice...also any of the EFY cds are good...
If you're looking for calming music that doesn't have cussing and everything you might try Josh Groban or Charlotte Church...they aren't LDS, but they both have awesome voices...have Josh Groban's cd....it's awesome....the song To Where You Are is great.... :D
"Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream preceds the goal."
"Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching!"
Jericho Road Rocks!!!! D
Check out the Osmond Second Generation (get thier new CD... the one dedicated to america...... and listen to David sing!), Jared Osmond, Stephen Craig (Marie Osmond's son.)
the others listed some really good ones.
