I love a lot of music. I listen to it more than I watch TV. My friend teases me for it. I love Colors, Eclipse, Josh Groban, Billy Joel, Ryan Shuppe and the Rubber Band, Donny Osmond, Donny's nephew David Osmond, Jeff McLean, The Edgar Winter Group (the song Frankenstien rocks. Killer drum solo), The Beatles, The Monkees, Sting, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Chicago, Boston, Kansas, Toto, Huey Lewis and the News. I could go on and on. I really do love music. Music is inspiration and relaxing. I can also exercise to it and play basketball. :lol:

A Walk to Remember does have fun music! The movie is sad, but GREAT!
Yeah, that is one of the saddest movies i have ever seen (aside from Charly of course cry ) I don't want to sound all "churchy" or anything, but don't you think that he (landen i think his name was) and mandy moore (i forgot what her name was) would have had such an easier time dealing with her illness, if they had had the gospel in their life? lol just a thought i had while i was talking to my sister's boyfriend about it! lol
hehe I have the A Walk to Remember book, and I've read it before, but I'm reading it again. And I took it to school and I had some extra time to read and I was getting all teary-eyed right there in my seat! I probably would've started bawling if it wasn't time to go and I kept reading on! hehe! I really like the soundtrack too. I really like Switchfoot. I was watching Much Music today and I saw one of Switchfoot's music videos it was called "Meant to Live" And I thought they were like kindof old, but they're not! lol.. Now I wanna watch that movie! Dara, to answer your question, maybe it would've been easier to get through her illness if they had the gospel in their lives. When I first read your question, I was like, "What?... But it's a movie!" Then I realized it's a true story! But yeah, I love that story sooooo much it's the best!

Since we are kinda talking about "a Walk to Remember"..I have to share that I have a Humungous (totally spelled wrong) movie poster, ya know the one with shane and mandy. AND, IT'S IN FRENCH! it says "Une Promenade Inouliable" --or "One unforgettable Walk". My parents bought it for me on E-bay for Christmas because I had been looking for the movie poster ever since the movie came out like last july! ANd, yeah I bought the book after i had seen the movie and its kinda different! But i love it! I read it in like 4 hours. I was sitting in my room reading it, and when shes like "I'm dying, landon" i was like bawling...and so then I finished it and my face ws all red and puffy and i went out into our family room and my dad was like "whats wrong?" and I was like "My book! Its so sad!" hehe Just thought i'd share that with ya!

It was sooo funny, when my friend and i were in the movie theater seeing it all of a sudden a big group of girls start busting up laughing at the saddest part in the movie (when she is like "i'm sicK") and we were like what the heck!! (cuz we were all crying and stuff) and then this big "gangsta" guy gets up... and he is CRYING!!!!! it was sooooo funny, it made me laugh really hard, even though it was a sad part.... so i was kinda laughing and crying at the same time! { lol cry } lol just thought i would share! haha!
Amanda, I hope you don't care that I'm posting this story, cause I wasn't even there, but it is really funny!
Amanda (pandabear787) and her friend Jessica went to see Walk to Remember, and after the movie was over, Jess asked if Mandy Moore's character had died, and Amanda told her she did, then Jess busted out crying in the middle of the theater...a bit of a delayed reaction I guess!
Anyway, I like the book much better than the movie, but the movie was great too! That book is one of my all time favorites, I was so excited when I heard they were making it into a movie.

hahahaha!!! It was SOOOO fuuny! She didn't have a CLUE that she died! Then , we went to the bathroom and she asked me. It was like 10 minutes after it was over, and she just starts bawling!!! LOL! People were looking at her SO weird! hehehehe! I thought it was funny! Great movie and book though!!!!
